We like chatting about football and boxing and leadership and inspiring others and getting better ourselves. We have an opportunity to be a little bit more holistic. It’s more of an experience rather than just a workout. You’re working out with a friend who happens to be very knowledgeable and getting results at the same time.
— Tim Chi, CEO at the knot worldwide; Co-Founder of wedding wire

“I remember my first session with him.  It was more of an eval. One of the things that stood out to me is I really appreciated his knowledge of how the body works as it relates to fitness and living a healthier lifestyle. So much of fitness, I’ve found in working with him, is mental. It's about commitment and getting yourself in the right mindset and self motivation. We talk about a lot of that stuff beyond the physical part of working out. He strikes a really good balance across both of those planes. One of the things that clicked with me and Brandon early on, was that I had done some light boxing but I really wanted to get into boxing. He's good at teaching and that's always been a part of our routine — it’s a lot of fun!

I was feeling very sedentary. With a lot of professions like mine,  you're sitting behind a desk a lot. I was looking to get out and get healthy. I had the opportunity to meet Brandon. Its been a couple years [training] now. I think he does some of the simple things really well. The workout routines are never the same. They’re always adapting and curated to what you need. I'd also say, Brandon is really good at responding to how you're doing. We’re making adjustments all the time. I really like that. It’s always tailored and customized and evolving as we progress — which is great!

He's a good friend. We like chatting about football and boxing and leadership and inspiring others and getting better ourselves. We have an opportunity to be a little bit more holistic. It's more of an experience rather than just a workout. You’re working out with a friend who happens to be very knowledgeable and getting results at the same time.  I’d definitely give him a call. Let's see if it's a good fit. I think he's different from a lot of trainers that I worked out with. I would encourage anyone to contact him to work out.”

I think he’s very good at reading the audience — how much I want to be pushed, how much cheerleading I need, and modulating his approach, tone, and energy level to meet my mood for optimal results. I would recommend his services and I have.”

“I started training with Brandon at the end of 2018. I wanted to improve my general fitness/wellness and functional strength. I had become quite sedentary and wanted to add more movement. His relaxed, talkative style made the workouts more accessible early in our sessions together.Brandon mixes things up with different exercises and variations on exercises, but the structure of the workout is predictable — that creates a nice balance of familiarity with new challenges each week. With some trainers, everything is different, every session, and that can be a distraction.

I think he's very good at reading the audience — how much I want to be pushed, how much cheerleading I need, and modulating his approach, tone, and energy level to meet my mood for optimal results. I would recommend his services and I have.”

I think what’s so unique about Brandon is he understands the science behind working out so well, that I’ve never felt like I’ve had workouts that were so efficient. Efficiency is really important to me.
— Rebecca Taber, Founder and ceo at Merit america

“I started working with Brandon because I was engaged and wanted to get into good shape before my wedding. Its been several years of working together, because I found his services so invaluable that even after I achieved my wedding goals, and was married, I wanted to keep working with him. Now, I am actually pregnant and it’s amazing to work with him during this different phase of life for prenatal fitness. I think what’s so unique about Brandon is he understands the science behind working out so well, that I’ve never felt like I’ve had workouts that were so efficient. Efficiency is really important to me.

I’m a busy, nonprofit executive and I want the time that I spend with Brandon to be as productive as possible. It’s the reason why I’ve kept working with him -- I find that I get more out of a single session working with him, than a few weeks of working out on my own. I feel like the sessions with Brandon have actually just rebooted a healthy lifestyle for me. So, it’s not just working out, it’s staying conscious of what I eat and other choices I can make throughout the week to really take care of my health. I think he is not just a great coach in terms of working out but also a great coach in work and life, so i really value the time we spend together. I find it helps me clear my head, set my priorities and execute on them.”

Since 2012, Brandon has boosted my confidence in my physical abilities and helped me channel my inner athlete. I am extremely happy with the results. I wouldn’t want to train with anyone else.”

Brandon always brings positive energy to each session. No matter what may be going on in his life, he gives you 100% of his attention and focuses while you are training. He is non-judgmental about where you are at, but always makes you feel like you can achieve your goals. He is motivating. I remember appreciating that I didn’t have to carry the conversation! Brandon also creates great circuits/workouts. We rarely [do] the same thing for too long, and most of the exercises are total body. He is always able to adjust if something isn’t working for me, and again, the exercises he chooses are fun to do.

My primary form of exercise had been running, but running became too hard on my knees and back. So, I needed to learn how to do other functional exercises that strengthened my core and provided cardiovascular benefits.

Since 2012, Brandon has boosted my confidence in my physical abilities and helped me channel my inner athlete. I am extremely happy with the results. I wouldn’t want to train with anyone else.”

Brandon is a great trainer. He really sets out to understand your goals, not only associated with your body, but your emotional state and spiritual state... He’ll take into account life events that are coming up, certain stress moments and make sure your workout is tailored to what you need specifically.

“Most people think that they are able to do their own exercises themselves but having somebody really correct your form and motivate you makes all the difference in terms of how effective your workout is. I think working with Brandon really helps people get stronger in many ways that they couldn't possibly themselves. [When] I had the last of my four children, I wanted to get stronger so that I could enjoy them fully and keep up with them. Brandon is a great trainer. He really sets out to understand your goals, not only associated with your body, but your emotional state and spiritual state. Then, he works a very specific program to meet all of the goals. He'll take into account life events that are coming up, certain stress moments and make sure your workout is tailored to what you need specifically.

He's a good friend of mine now. He's attuned to what my goals are in life. He's always pushing me. He pushes me physically, and it helps me gain some confidence to push myself in other areas of life. I appreciate that he's done that for me. Its been two years now. I'm a stronger person. I work with him three days a week and I think I'm in better shape than I ever have been in my life.”

I absolutely love his energy. It was like having a TED talk while you’re training. It kind of makes you not focus so much on the pain, since you’re engaged in the conversation. He would point out how you have to move past the fear, and just reframe it in your mind. It was amazing some of the stuff I was able to do when I was a little bit intimidated initially. It’s all about engaging your mind and seeing yourself doing a thing before you do it.

My motivation was to get back in really good shape. For my line of work, we have to keep it together. The physical is just as important as your skill set. Honestly, when I was training with Brandon, I saw some abs I hadn't seen before. When he was training me, my body was in such tip-top shape. I learned so much about working out. When you have a really good trainer, who's showing you the right form and giving you positive reinforcement and really good information, it's a lot better than doing it by yourself. Even though I have a lot of information, I don't push as much as I do with a trainer.

I really appreciate that our personalities really gelled and that helps. Brandon doesn't push you to do the cardio that you don't enjoy. If you're not a runner, he's not going to push you to run. He’ll find things that you like, that will give you the same effect. It's not like he's married to just one routine, he mixes it up, and I love that. It's got to be good for your muscles to mix it up, confusing all your muscles to surrender!

He's got this Ronin Code, he really believes that. He is all in with the Ronin. People talk a good game but it's refreshing to meet someone who is really living it. He's really trying to be positive and affect some positive change in the world. I admire that.

He would [also] explain a lot about nutrition. It’s just very helpful because it's not just a workout. If you eat the way I like to eat, you can work out forever and it's not so good. Even though I thought I was eating very healthy, he helped step my game up quite a bit.

People who are open to new ideas, who really want to be their best selves, and that is physically, mentally, emotionally, the whole gamut, just your whole self. If you're looking to do that -- I would recommend Brandon as their trainer. Brandon wants you to win. If he takes you on as a client, you've got to be open and if you're open, you're going to win because he's got your best interest at heart. I really believe that. He's actively tuned in.
